His vision is to expand the plaOorm to more countries, ensuring that Zimbabweans across the world are equipped with the right knowledge to invest back home and contribute to the naCon’s economic growth.
Kapesa revealed that plans are already underway to bring the expo back to the United Kingdom in October 2025, with future ediCons expected in other key diaspora hubs.
“Our goal is to take the Zimbabwe Business Expo to as many countries as possible where Zimbabweans reside. We want to create a lasCng impact by ensuring that our people, regardless of where they are in the world, have access to the right informaCon and networks to invest back home,” he said.
The expo has already proven to be a vital resource for Zimbabweans in the diaspora, offering direct engagement with government representaCves, financial experts, and successful businesspeople who share insights on investment opportuniCes in various sectors.
“Many Zimbabweans in the diaspora want to invest back home but lack the necessary informaCon or fear the unknown. Through this plaOorm, we are demysCfying the investment climate, addressing concerns, and ensuring that the diaspora community plays an acCve role in rebuilding our economy,” Kapesa explained.
With the first ediCon in England having set a strong foundaCon, and South Africa now gearing up for an even bigger event in May 2025, Kapesa is confident that the Zimbabwe Business Expo will become a key driver of diaspora investment.
“We have seen incredible interest and parCcipaCon from business leaders, investors, and government officials. This is proof that the Zimbabwe Business Expo is not just an event, but a movement that is set to transform how the diaspora engages with Zimbabwe’s economy,” he added.
